Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2026 — Swati K. has started a new chapter as Vice President & Global Head of Business Development at Steriscience Pvt. Ltd. In this role, she is set to lead the company’s global business development agenda as Steriscience continues to strengthen its position in the injectables space and expand its international presence. Her appointment marks an important leadership move for the organization as it focuses on growth, partnerships, and market expansion.
Before taking on this role, Swati K. was associated with Strides, where she most recently served as Head – Business Development and P&L Management, APAC, Assistant Vice President. In this position, she was responsible for business development and commercial leadership across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, she worked at Strides as Head, Business Development – Asia Pacific Region, General Manager, further strengthening her experience in regional growth strategy, portfolio expansion, and market-facing leadership within the pharmaceutical sector.
She also had a brief stint as Associate Director at PwC Acceleration Centers, where she added consulting and analytical exposure to her professional journey. Earlier, she built a strong foundation at Strides through roles such as Deputy General Manager, Portfolio and Business Development and Senior Manager, Portfolio and Business Development, contributing to portfolio strategy, commercial planning, and business development initiatives.
Prior to these assignments, Swati K. worked with Cipla Ltd. in the Global Respiratory Business, gaining important experience in the pharmaceutical business environment. She also completed an internship at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where she worked on a business model aimed at revving up retail sales through e-commerce channels. She began her professional journey as Associate-Operations at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, adding early operational experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space.
Alongside her executive career, she has also been serving as Board Advisor at SUKRUPA, reflecting her wider engagement beyond core corporate responsibilities. Her career journey shows steady progression across business development, commercial strategy, portfolio management, and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Swati K. holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, where she graduated with A+ with distinction. Her academic background in pharmaceutical sciences has provided a strong foundation for her career across healthcare, pharma business development, and strategic leadership.
