New Delhi, India, December 2025 — The/Nudge Institute has announced the appointment of Swati Rangachari as Chief Goverment Alliances Officer, marking a significant addition to its leadership team. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Swati brings exceptional expertise in public policy, strategic engagement, corporate affairs, and government partnerships, shaping impactful collaboration between public and private sectors.
Before joining The/Nudge Institute, Swati served as Vice President & Country Leader – Public Affairs and Strategic Engagements at UnitedHealth Group, where she led partnerships with government bodies, regulators, and think tanks to shape outcomes in health, digital innovation, and policy advocacy. Her work at UHG strengthened the organization’s engagement with India’s healthcare and technology ecosystem, driving initiatives that supported sustainable growth and policy transformation.
Earlier, as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at STL – Sterlite Technologies Limited, Swati played a pivotal role in influencing national policies across Digital India, 5G, cybersecurity, and Make in India initiatives. She also chaired several industry committees across CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, and BIF, establishing STL as a policy and industry leader in digital infrastructure.
Her prior leadership journey includes senior roles at Visa, Ericsson, Boeing, and Texas Instruments, where she consistently built government engagement frameworks, led public policy advocacy, and positioned these organizations as credible industry voices. She began her career in advertising and communications, leading Admas Advertising Pvt. Ltd. and consulting with The PRactice, where she shaped strategic communications for emerging brands.
With her appointment, The/Nudge Institute strengthens its commitment to building deep, outcome-driven partnerships with government, industry, and civil society—enabling scalable impact in rural development, livelihoods, and poverty alleviation.
