Swati Rustagi Joins Adobe as Vice President of Employee Experience for India

New Delhi, India, July 2024 – Adobe has appointed Swati Rustagi as the new Vice President of Employee Experience for India. This significant leadership movement places Rustagi at the helm of the India EX team, where she will spearhead strategic people initiatives and report directly to Gloria Chen, Chief People Officer and Executive VP of Employee Experience at Adobe.

Swati Rustagi brings a wealth of experience in HR strategies and leadership to her new role at Adobe. Prior to joining Adobe, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Paytm for over a year, where she led HR operations, strategic planning, and leadership development initiatives across the company.

Before Paytm, Swati spent more than four years at Amazon, holding various roles such as Director Talent Strategy, Leadership Development Worldwide Stores, Director DEI International Markets, and Director Human Resources. During her tenure at Amazon, she contributed significantly to talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion programs, and human resources strategy development.

Swati also served as the Director & Chief People Officer at Max Healthcare for two years, where she focused on enhancing employee engagement and organizational development.

Her career includes a maternity break from April 2015 to November 2016, during which she looked after her twin boys.

Earlier in her career, Swati held prominent HR roles at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as Exec. Vice President & Head Global Human Resources, Patni Computer Systems as Vice President Talent Management & Total Rewards, and Johnson & Johnson Medical as Director – Human Resources. At Johnson & Johnson, she led HR for the surgical care businesses and implemented several key HR initiatives.

Swati’s journey in HR began at DSP Merrill Lynch as Vice President Human Resources, where she designed and executed capability-building strategies and led key integration projects. She also spent nine years at Hindustan Unilever Ltd in various HR roles, including Corporate Learning Manager, Employee Relations Manager, and HR Manager for operations in Silvassa and Mangalore.
