Over nearly two decades, Manish Sharma has played a pivotal role in shaping Panasonic’s presence in India — from scaling operations and strengthening local manufacturing capabilities to championing innovation, sustainability, and a purpose-driven culture. Looking back, he shared, “It is with immense pride and gratitude that I look back at Panasonic’s evolution—from strengthening local operations to becoming a trusted and diversified partner that touches millions of lives. I feel privileged to have led such a talented team and am confident that the company is well-positioned for the future under Tadashi Chiba’s leadership.”

Expressing the organization’s appreciation, Masahiro Shinada, President & CEO, Panasonic Corporation, acknowledged Sharma’s contribution to establishing India as a strategic manufacturing and innovation hub for the Group. Sharma’s leadership extended beyond Panasonic, playing a defining role in shaping India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem through active participation in FICCI, CEAMA, and several government-led initiatives.

In the next phase, Tadashi Chiba will continue to steer Panasonic Life Solutions India’s growth strategy, strengthening customer-centric innovation, expanding the company’s integrated solutions portfolio, and advancing sustainability priorities aligned with Panasonic’s global vision.

In his current role as MD & CEO of Panasonic Life Solutions India and Panasonic India, Tadashi Chiba has been leading the company’s India operations since 2023, focusing on business transformation, market expansion, and operational excellence.

Prior to this, he served as Business Head, Cold Chain Solutions Division at Panasonic Corporation in Tokyo, where he was responsible for driving the division’s global growth strategy, technology modernization, and market penetration across various regions.

Earlier roles across Panasonic’s global operations shaped his expertise in business development, product strategy, and cross-market integration—capabilities that now continue to guide Panasonic Life Solutions India through its next stage of growth.
