London, United Kingdom, October 2025 – Tarun Ahluwalia has been appointed as the Head People & Organization, Northern Cluster Europe at Sandoz, where he will lead HR operations across the Nordics, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, and Israel. With nearly two decades of progressive HR leadership, he brings deep expertise in driving transformation, building high-performing cultures, and aligning people strategy with business outcomes at global and regional levels.
Most recently, Ahluwalia served as Head HR Operations (People & Organization) for Sandoz International Region, where he oversaw service delivery across APAC, Russia, MEA, and Latin America. Before this, he was Head HR for Sandoz Development Centre in Hyderabad, where he led talent management, leadership development, capability building, and global HR initiatives.
Prior to joining Sandoz, Ahluwalia worked at Boston Scientific for over six years. He served as Head of APAC HR Transformation, leading HR digitization, operating model design, and shared services setup across 17 countries. He also held the role of Head HR – AMEA R&D, GBS and IT, driving HR strategy, organizational development, and global capability-building programs.
Earlier in his career, he spent over two years at Airtel, where he served as Sr. Manager and Head HR for Global Business and HR Manager for Global Business, overseeing global HR practices, expatriate management, and talent development. He also held HR leadership roles at Times Internet and Genpact, where he managed large employee populations, drove employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance across US-based businesses.
Ahluwalia holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, where he was a silver medalist and participated in student exchange programs. He also earned a Masters in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management, strengthening his global HR perspective.
