Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Tarun Sharma has been appointed as Senior Director and Global Head – Total Rewards at Indegene, taking charge of the organisation’s global rewards architecture, compensation strategy, incentive design, and long-term rewards governance as Indegene continues to strengthen its people systems in line with its rapid global expansion.
In his current role at Indegene, Tarun Sharma is responsible for leading the organisation’s global Total Rewards charter, shaping compensation governance, incentive structures, ESOP and LTI frameworks, rewards analytics, and policy formulation to support high-performance culture and scalable workforce growth.
Prior to this, he spent over three years with Aon as Associate Director, where he advised large organisations on compensation benchmarking, benefits design, rewards transformation, and executive compensation strategy across multiple industries.
Earlier, Tarun served as Head of Compensation & Benefits at Tata Advanced Systems Limited, driving enterprise-wide compensation governance, benefits architecture, and performance-linked incentive programs in a highly regulated manufacturing and aerospace environment.
His consulting career includes a significant tenure with Korn Ferry, where he worked as Associate Principal and Senior Consultant, partnering with CXOs on organisation design, executive rewards, workforce analytics, and leadership compensation strategies. His foundational experience also includes Total Rewards roles with PwC India, early HR internships with Whirlpool Corporation, and engineering exposure at Punj Lloyd Limited.
Tarun Sharma holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, providing a strong academic foundation in strategic HR, rewards design, and organisation effectiveness.
