Belgrade, Serbia, August 2025 – Tatjana Velasevic has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Volcano BET, one of the leading gaming and betting companies in the Balkans. In her new role, Tatjana will oversee the organization’s people strategy, with a focus on labor compliance, talent development, organizational culture, and HR innovation as the company continues to scale its operations across the region.
Prior to joining Volcano BET, Tatjana held a senior leadership role at MaxBet, where she served for nearly three years as Head of Labor Law and HR Administration Department. She also briefly led the Labor Law Department, contributing to legal compliance, policy development, and employee relations for one of the region’s prominent gaming firms.
Previously, she spent nearly five years at MK Group, progressing through a series of impactful roles including Deputy Director of Human Resources, Senior HR Business Partner, and Senior Expert in Human Resources. At MK Group, she contributed to cross-sector HR strategies supporting a large conglomerate, playing a key role in workforce planning, business partnership, and talent optimization.
Tatjana began her HR leadership journey at Sberbank Srbija, where she worked for nearly nine years, eventually rising to the position of Senior Expert in Human Resources. Her time there helped establish her as a strong HR generalist with expertise in banking and corporate governance structures, equipping her with a foundation in both compliance and people engagement.
