Hanoi, Vietnam, March 2026 — Techcom Life Insurance has announced that Mukesh Pilania has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer, marking a key leadership milestone as the company advances its vision of “Transforming Insurance , Empowering Futures” in Vietnam’s life insurance market.
In his new role as CEO, Pilania will lead the next phase of Techcom Life’s growth agenda, with a focus on building a modern, customer-centric life insurance platform aligned to the evolving needs of Vietnamese individuals, families, and communities.
Reflecting on the journey and the significance of the transition, Mukesh Pilania said, “From the earliest blueprints to launching the company, it has been a privilege to help build Techcom Life from ground up. This role is the continuation of a vision that I’ve championed since our inception.”
Before taking over as Chief Executive Officer, Pilania served as Chair of the Board of Directors at Techcom Life Insurance, where he helped shape the foundational strategy to establish a new life insurance company in Vietnam with the stated ambition of “Transforming Insurance , Empowering Futures”.
Prior to Techcom Life, he spent over five years with Techcombank (TCB) in senior leadership roles spanning Digital Banking and Payments, including as EVP | Head of Digital Banking cum Head of Payments. His earlier experience also includes co-founding insurtech and digital transformation ventures (Yan3k and Insuradar) and holding regional leadership roles at AXA, including Asia Region Head – Customer Experience, where he worked on omni-channel transformation, customer insight programs, and customer-centric change initiatives.
