London, England, United Kingdom, August 2025 – Teresa Chacon has been appointed as Vice President Corporate Human Resources – London & Regional Group at L+R Hotels. In this new capacity, Teresa will oversee group-level HR governance, policy frameworks, regulatory compliance, and corporate HR systems, while maintaining strategic and operational responsibility for People & Culture at the company’s headquarters.
Most recently, Teresa served for over eight years as Director of People and Culture at L+R Hotels – L+R Properties Ltd, leading the corporate People & Culture function and driving talent strategies for both the L+R Corporate Office and the Strand Palace Hotel. Her contributions spanned leadership development, talent engagement, and HR transformation in alignment with business growth and investment objectives.
Before that, Teresa spent more than four years as Cluster Human Resources Manager – London at De Vere Venues (formerly PH Hotels), where she led HR operations across multiple landmark hotels in the UK during a £200 million refurbishment investment. She implemented workforce planning initiatives, enhanced talent management systems, and supported operational excellence across the cluster.
Earlier, Teresa served as Human Resources Manager at IHG – Holiday Inn London for several months, overseeing HR operations during the successful transition from Hilton to the IHG, Holiday Inn brand. Her role encompassed TUPE transfers, restructuring, brand education delivery, workforce planning for a major refurbishment, and system implementation.
Her career also includes more than six years as Human Resources Manager at Hilton Wembley, where she led end-to-end HR operations, change management during acquisitions and rebranding, and workforce and succession planning. Additionally, Teresa held the role of HR Advisor at the Hilton Regional Office, where she was involved in the national design and implementation of talent management tools, policy harmonization, and modernization of job descriptions.
