Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands, September 2025 — Ayvens has announced the appointment of Tessa Peetoom as its new Group Director People Development, Performance & Culture. With more than 20 years of professional experience across people strategy, organizational transformation, diversity and inclusion, and communications, Tessa brings a proven ability to drive performance and culture change at a global scale.
Tessa has been with Ayvens and its legacy organization, LeasePlan, since 2017, holding several leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Global Director DE&I and Culture, where she was responsible for embedding an inclusive culture, developing global DE&I strategy, and leading cultural transformation programs that strengthened collaboration and belonging across the business. In parallel, she acted as Global Project Manager HR, managing large-scale people-focused projects to align talent, culture, and organizational performance.
Before joining Ayvens, Tessa worked with PwC Nederland for over six years, advancing from Manager People and Organisation to Senior Manager. She supported clients through complex organizational transformations including centralization, restructuring, mergers, and rapid growth. Her work emphasized project management, stakeholder alignment, and guiding organizations to implement sustainable change while developing leadership capabilities.
Earlier in her career, Tessa held key roles in communications and organizational development. She served as Manager HR including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at LeasePlan, Communications Coordinator at Parteon, and Spokesperson for Poelenburg urban renewal projects, collaborating with housing associations and local government. She also worked as a Senior Communications Officer at ISS Facility Services, a Trainer at Adviespunt, an Education Officer at ING, and began her career as a Cityhopper Coordinator with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, where she also contributed to the company’s works council.
