Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 — Teymur Abasguliyev has been named Chief Executive Officer of Nayara Energy, with his appointment becoming effective in September 2025. His elevation underscores the company’s intent to reinforce leadership stability and operational excellence during a period of evolving global challenges.
With over two decades of global leadership experience in the energy sector, Teymur was most recently the Chief Financial Officer at SOCAR Türkiye, the $17 billion investment arm of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
