Bangkok, Thailand, March 2026 — BNP Paribas has appointed Thanapat Pratoommase as Director – Head of Human Resources, Thailand. In this role, he will lead the HR agenda for the bank’s Thailand operations, supporting workforce strategy, leadership capability, talent priorities, and HR governance aligned with business needs.
Thanapat brings a strong blend of HR leadership and broader business management experience across financial services and consulting. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, he spent over six years with BRED IT Thailand, where he progressed through senior leadership roles, most recently serving as Deputy CEO. Earlier at BRED IT Thailand, he served as Head of Human Resources and Finance and Head of Human Resources, leading people strategy while also contributing to wider business operations and performance priorities.
Before that, he served at PwC Thailand as Head of HRBP – Consulting, leading HR business partnering for the Consulting practice across Technology Consulting, Management & HR Consulting, Risk Consulting, and Strategy Consulting in Bangkok.
Earlier, he worked with Aberdeen Standard Investments as Country HR Manager – Thailand, where he partnered with senior leadership to implement HR strategic initiatives and align group HR strategies with local operations. His remit included recruiting planning and manpower forecasting, talent and succession planning for critical leadership roles, performance management, market benchmarking for compensation decisions, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
He also served as Human Resources Manager at Evolution Capital Public Company Limited, leading HR support for a group of businesses and partnering with senior executives on HR strategy, recruitment programs, learning and development, compliance, payroll, and employee relations.
Earlier in his career, he was Recruitment and HR Business Partner Manager at Wall Street English, where he led talent acquisition programs, workforce planning, HR partnering for multiple functions, employer branding, compensation benchmarking, and recruitment process improvement initiatives.
Thanapat began his professional journey with ExxonMobil, where he held roles spanning Compensation Analyst – UK & Ireland, Asia Pacific Power User, Process & Change Specialist, and customer master and pricing analyst responsibilities, building strong foundations in process governance, data, and compensation-related work.
