In this expanded leadership position, Paul will spearhead strategic people initiatives across ZigZag’s international footprint, driving talent transformation, employee experience, and organizational capability to support the company’s global growth agenda.
Prior to his elevation as Chief People Officer, Paul Charles Calingo served as Head of People and Culture at ZigZag Global for nearly three years. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s HR strategy, leading key programs across talent management, change management, wellness, and succession planning, while aligning people practices with ZigZag’s performance-driven culture.
Before joining ZigZag, Paul was Senior Manager, Country HR Business Partner Lead at Conduent, where he oversaw country-level HR operations and led strategic interventions in compensation, benefits, and organizational change for a period of over one year. His role focused on building agile HR solutions to support Conduent’s evolving business needs across the Philippines.
Paul spent nearly eleven years at Startek Philippines, growing through roles of increasing responsibility. Starting as HR Coordinator, he progressed to become HR Business Partner, HR Manager, and ultimately Senior Manager, Human Resources. During this tenure, he was instrumental in strengthening HR operations, launching employee wellness programs, and designing succession frameworks across business verticals.
With over 15 years of HR leadership experience, Paul has developed deep expertise in HR strategy, change leadership, employee engagement, and talent optimization across high-growth organizations in the outsourcing and professional services industries.
