NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas, USA, May 2024 — GVTC Communications has officially announced the appointment of Josh Pettiette as its new President and CEO, effective July 1, 2024. Pettiette, a seasoned executive with the company, steps into his new role following the retirement of the current President & CEO, Ritchie Sorrells.
Josh Pettiette has dedicated 14 years to GVTC, most recently serving as Vice President of Product, Business Development, and Strategic Planning. His tenure has been marked by significant contributions to the organization’s strategic direction, enhancing financial growth, and evolving its product offerings. With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, Pettiette brings a comprehensive understanding of the industry and GVTC’s operations.

The selection of Pettiette follows an extensive CEO search initiated by the GVTC Board of Directors in January of this year. The board sought a leader who embodies a strategic and culture-first mindset, ensuring GVTC continues to lead in the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape.
