Reston, Virginia, United States, April 2025 – Tim Cross has been appointed as Director, Talent Acquisition at AIS (Applied Information Sciences). In his new role, Tim will lead end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, guiding recruitment efforts across AIS’s U.S. and India operations with a focus on scaling AI, cloud, and cybersecurity talent pipelines for federal and commercial clients.
Tim brings more than two decades of talent acquisition leadership experience to AIS. Most recently, he served for over six years as Senior Director, Talent Acquisition at Cognosante, where he led strategic recruitment initiatives supporting large-scale federal health and IT programs. His efforts were instrumental in growing the organization’s talent footprint across highly specialized domains.
Before joining Cognosante, he held senior recruitment roles at Perspecta, Belcan, and STG Inc., consistently contributing to the successful hiring of cleared and technical professionals across the public sector. His earlier leadership experience includes serving as Director of Talent Acquisition at A-T Solutions, where he implemented scalable sourcing models and built high-performing talent teams.
Tim’s deep expertise in defense and national security hiring was further shaped through roles at Technica Corporation, FCi Federal, Triple Canopy, and USIS. He began his career in recruitment following his service as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army, bringing a mission-first, people-driven approach to every organization he’s supported.
