This marks a significant milestone in his distinguished two-decade career spanning public relations, media strategy, corporate communications, and digital engagement across leading global organizations.
In his expanded role, Tinu will continue to lead UST’s global PR operations across 30+ countries, steering the company’s communication strategy and strengthening its brand influence across key international markets. His focus will be on enhancing UST’s global visibility through strategic storytelling, cross-regional media engagement, and integrated reputation management.
Prior to this elevation, Tinu served as Director and Global Head – PR & Media Relations at UST, where he built and scaled a global communications ecosystem supported by in-house expertise and agency partnerships across the US, UK, India, Spain, Bulgaria, and Australia. He has been instrumental in amplifying UST’s narrative as a purpose-led digital transformation company through impactful global media engagement and thought leadership programs.
Before joining UST, Tinu held senior communications leadership roles at HARMAN India, managing public relations and brand engagement for iconic consumer audio brands such as JBL, AKG, and Harman Kardon. He also drove large-scale PR and influencer campaigns at Ola, strengthening brand perception in one of India’s fastest-growing mobility ecosystems. Earlier in his career, he contributed to UST Global’s marketing efforts in digital PR and social media strategy, establishing UST as one of India’s most influential brands online.
Tinu’s professional journey began in technology, having worked as a software engineer with Infosys, Cisco, and Juniper Networks, which gives him a unique perspective on blending technical expertise with communication strategy. His contributions extend beyond the corporate realm through his voluntary leadership at Wikimedia India, where he led public and media relations for the movement.
