Irving, Texas, United States, June 2024 – Meriton is excited to announce the appointment of Toni A. Gates as the new Chief People Officer.
With a distinguished career in human resources spanning over two decades, Toni brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role. Her most recent role was with Mitra QSR, where she served as Chief People Officer. Toni’s extensive expertise and strategic vision make her an excellent fit for Meriton, and her leadership will be instrumental in driving the HR initiatives across the organization.
Before Mitra QSR, Toni served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Reliant Rehabilitation for approximately 3 years, where she led HR operations and implemented executive compensation planning and total rewards strategies.
Earlier in her career, Toni was the Vice President of Human Resources at Next Health USA for about 3 years, focusing on strategic HR leadership and executive compensation planning. She also held the position of Director, Employee Services at National Grid for about 4 years, where she demonstrated her skills in strategic HR leadership.
Her career began at Medical Edge as Director of HR Operations, where she spent approximately 5 years managing HR operations and developing HR strategies.
Meriton has deep experience and a strong track record of success in the commercial HVAC industry. The team makes long-term investments in top-tier, independent companies and brings them together to maximize their collective potential. Meriton’s portfolio spans 13 U.S. states and includes ten businesses: Air Equipment Company, CFM Company, Custom Mechanical Solutions, Engineered Equipment, Inc., HVAC RNTL, Integrated Cooling Solutions, Mechanical Products Nevada, Mechanical Products Southwest, Texas AirSystems, and Vicon Equipment. By leveraging its extensive industry experience and strategic investments, Meriton aims to continue its growth and maintain its position as a leader in the commercial HVAC market.
