United States, May 2026 – Ascend has appointed Tracey Schreibe as Vice President, Head of People Operations, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues scaling its modern platform for entrepreneurial CPA firms.
In her new role, Tracey will lead the end-to-end people experience across Total Rewards, HRIS, and Employee Operations Programs for Ascend and its partner firms, with a strong focus on building an AI-first operating model to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Ascend, Tracey Schreibe served as Senior Director, Global People & Talent Acquisition Operations at Light & Wonder, where she led global HR and talent acquisition operations supporting more than 7,000 employees across 30+ countries. During her tenure, she drove global HR shared services transformation, AI optimization initiatives, HR technology modernization through Workday, and workforce strategy enhancements across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
Earlier, Tracey held leadership roles at Eventbrite, including Director, Global HR Transformation & Chief of Staff to the Chief People Officer, where she led people transformation programs, digital innovation initiatives, strategic planning, policy implementation, and enterprise-wide change management programs. She also served as Director of Global Talent Acquisition PMO & Operations, contributing to talent operations and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
She additionally spent five years with PwC across multiple human capital transformation leadership roles, including Senior Manager, Global Human Capital Operations & PMO, where she partnered with global leadership teams on HR transformation, recruitment optimization, people technology innovation, and large-scale organizational change initiatives. Her work focused extensively on global HR transformation strategy, program management, workforce standardization, and operational excellence.
Earlier in her career, Tracey built strong expertise in HR operations and talent acquisition during her six-year tenure at Ares Management Corporation, where she progressed through multiple HR leadership roles, ultimately serving as AVP, Manager of Global HR & Recruitment Operations. There, she managed global HR operations, organizational design, performance management, people analytics, M&A-related HR integration, and talent acquisition initiatives.
