Ontario, Canada, May 2025 – Tracy Browne has taken on the role of Vice President, People and Culture at North West Rubber Group, one of the world’s largest rubber mat manufacturers. In her new capacity, Tracy will lead the company’s HR strategy across its global operations, focusing on people development, culture transformation, and operational excellence across diverse industry verticals.
Most recently, Tracy Browne served as Vice President of Human Resources at Salit Steel for four years. During her tenure, she developed and implemented a robust human capital strategy supporting Canadian and U.S. locations, with an emphasis on talent acquisition, employee relations, and total rewards.
Prior to that, she was with Semtech for over eight years, where she held multiple roles including Senior Director of Human Resources. She provided global HR leadership supporting teams across Europe, Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, leading full life cycle HR operations and global business alignment.
Earlier, she held key HR leadership positions at Umicore, ON Semiconductor, and Sound Design Technologies, where she successfully led talent management initiatives and HR integration during mergers and acquisitions.
Tracy’s career foundation was built at Gennum Corporation and Manulife, where she served in progressive HR and recruitment roles, gaining deep expertise in compensation, organizational design, and employee lifecycle management.
