California, USA, May 2024 – Kaiser Permanente promotes Leticia Padilla Rogers to the role of Senior Director, Human Resources – IT. With a rich background in human resources management and IT, Leticia is set to lead strategic HR initiatives and drive the organization’s IT human capital strategy forward.
Leticia has been with Kaiser Permanente for over four years, starting as the Director of Human Resources – IT in February 2020. In this role, she was instrumental in managing HR strategies, consulting, and implementing various programs for over 1,900 IT employees globally. Her responsibilities included leading a team of Corporate HR Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Recruiters, Project Managers, and Coordinators. She served as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy, development, compensation, and organizational design initiatives. Her dedication and effective leadership have now earned her the position of Senior Director, Human Resources – IT, where she will continue to contribute to Kaiser Permanente’s mission of providing high-quality healthcare.
Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Leticia was the Director of Corporate Human Resources at Benefit Cosmetics from July 2018 to January 2020. Here, she led HR strategies for corporate functions, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing employee engagement.
Prior to her role at Benefit Cosmetics, Leticia served as the Senior Director of Corporate Human Resources at Albertsons Companies from August 2014 to July 2018. She was the single point of accountability for HR strategy and implementation for over 2,500 employees across the US, Canada, and Manila, including the IT organization. She led a team of HR professionals, served as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, and played a crucial role in navigating the company through a significant M&A transaction.
At Safeway, Leticia held multiple HR positions over a span of more than ten years. She started as a Talent Acquisition Representative in August 2004, where she managed recruitment functions, facilitated training for hiring managers, and developed staffing strategies. She then progressed to Corporate Human Resources Representative, Manager of Corporate Human Resources, and Senior Manager of IT Corporate Human Resources. In these roles, she partnered with senior leadership to lead employee programs, advised on organizational structure, and managed various HR functions such as performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.
Leticia’s early career included roles as a Team Relations Executive at Target, where she provided HR support and leadership, and as a Staffing Specialist/Associate HR Generalist at Reebok, where she developed staffing strategies and participated in succession planning for key positions. She began her HR career as a Human Resources Assistant at Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM), managing recruitment processes, benefits claims, and payroll.
