Napa Valley, California, United States, October 2025 — Darioush, one of Napa Valley’s most distinguished wineries known for its elegant and expressive wines, has announced the appointment of Trycel Alvarez-Pihl as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With nearly two decades of financial leadership experience across the wine and hospitality sectors, Trycel brings a deep understanding of financial governance, strategic growth, and multi-entity management to her new role.

As CFO, she will lead Darioush’s financial strategy, overseeing fiscal planning, capital allocation, and operational efficiencies to support the winery’s long-term growth. Her extensive experience in financial oversight and business transformation will be instrumental in strengthening Darioush’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth in the premium wine segment.

Before joining Darioush, Trycel served for over five years at John Anthony Family of Wines, where she rose to the position of Vice President of Finance. In this role, she directed finance, HR, and board reporting across a multi-entity enterprise spanning wine, spirits, hospitality, farming, and logistics, partnering closely with executives and board members on capital allocation, tax strategy, and performance optimization.

Prior to that, she held leadership positions as Controller at Heitz Cellar, where she redesigned financial systems during an acquisition transition, and at Italics Winegrowers, where she served as CFO and established the organization’s financial and HR infrastructure from the ground up. She also served as Controller at Clos du Val Wine Co., where she was responsible for budgeting, compliance, and board reporting during a period of organizational transformation.

Earlier in her career, Trycel gained valuable experience at Cline Family Cellars and Longs Drugs, where she developed her foundational expertise in accounting, cost management, and financial operations. Her broad-based background and leadership in the wine industry make her a valuable addition to Darioush’s leadership team as it continues to uphold its legacy of world-class craftsmanship and hospitality.
