Gaborone, Botswana, February 2025 – Tshepo Ramaselwana has taken on the role of Chief Human Capital Officer at Botswana Oil Limited (BOL), bringing extensive expertise in strategic HR leadership, organizational development, and culture transformation. In this role, Tshepo will drive the company’s human capital strategy, talent development initiatives, and overall people management policies to align with BOL’s broader business objectives.
Prior to rejoining BOL, Tshepo served as Group Chief of People at The Hollard Insurance Company for nearly eight years, leading HR transformation, talent management, and workforce planning strategies. In this role, Tshepo played a pivotal part in shaping total rewards strategies, employee benefits design, and leadership development programs to enhance organizational performance.

Previously, Tshepo was Human Resources Manager at Botswana Oil Limited, where they were responsible for developing high-performance HR strategies and fostering employee empowerment initiatives. Before that, Tshepo founded and led HR Lighthouse as Managing Director, providing strategic HR consulting, outsourcing, and talent solutions to various organizations in Botswana.
Earlier in their career, Tshepo held leadership roles at Engen Petroleum Limited as Human Capital Manager, managing end-to-end HR functions, and at Debswana Diamond Company, where they contributed to recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement programs. Their career spans nearly two decades of HR leadership across multiple industries, making them a strong addition to BOL’s executive team.
