Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2025 – TVS Motor Company has appointed Gaurav Gupta as President for its Indian two-wheeler business, covering both ICE and EV segments. Based in Bengaluru, he will report to Radhakrishnan K N, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company.
Bringing over three decades of automotive leadership experience, Gaurav has worked across India, China, Dubai, Indonesia, Vietnam, and ASEAN markets. Prior to joining TVS Motor Company, he served at JSW MG Motor India as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Growth Officer, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the commercial operations for MG Motor India over a tenure of approximately 6.5 years.
Earlier, he served as CEO & President Director at Bridgestone Tire Indonesia, where he led business restructuring, labor relations, new market expansion, and manufacturing efficiency. Before that, Gaurav held key leadership roles at General Motors, serving as Managing Director for Indonesia and Vietnam, overseeing strategic business growth, sales expansion, and transformation of operations. His tenure at General Motors India saw him managing strategic business development, utility vehicle expansion, and marketing initiatives. He also contributed to retail operations across Asia-Pacific, working in Singapore and Shanghai.
With deep expertise in strategic business development, market expansion, and sales transformation, Gaurav is set to drive TVS Motor’s continued leadership and growth in the Indian two-wheeler market as it strengthens its ICE and EV business portfolio.
