Burns has been a pivotal figure in the growth and success of Twin Peaks since joining the brand in 2010, when it operated just 13 locations. Over the past 15 years, she has been instrumental in scaling the business to 114 units. Her achievements include developing operating systems, designing rigorous training programs, and creating a structured new store opening curriculum that strengthened operational consistency and enhanced the guest experience.

Known for her cross-functional collaboration with operations teams, Burns has consistently demonstrated excellence in training design, change management, and people development, aligning performance and culture to deliver measurable results at the unit level. Her expanded role at Twin Hospitality Group will see her apply this expertise to further elevate the Smokey Bones brand.

“Lexi has helped shape our culture and our systems from the ground up,” said Kim Boerema, CEO of Twin Hospitality Group. “She connects people, training, and performance in a way that delivers results. I’m excited to see the impact she will have on both Twin Peaks and Smokey Bones in her new role and the new synergies that will emerge.”

Reflecting on her journey, Burns said: “From establishing programs from the outset to being a part of the company going public earlier this year, it has been an incredible 15 years with the Twin Peaks brand. As I step into this new role, I look forward to strengthening connections across both Twin Peaks and Smokey Bones and developing systems that drive measurable results.”
