Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Portugal, January 2026 – Ula Banasik has stepped into the role of Chief People Officer at Billennium, a global technology and digital services company supporting organizations to modernize, scale, and innovate through software, cloud, and managed services. In her new role, Ula is shaping Billennium’s global People & Culture strategy to enable international growth and strengthen a people-first culture across distributed, remote teams.
Ula joined Billennium in late 2025 and has begun building future-ready people practices aligned with the company’s mission to push boundaries and create IT solutions that bring meaningful value. Her focus spans developing global People & Culture capabilities, translating strategy into practical ways of working, and driving data-informed decisions that support both business outcomes and employee experience.
Before Billennium, Ula spent about two and a half years at SoftwareOne as Head of People Ops – EMEA East, where she built a People & Culture remote operations center for multiple markets across the region. Her work emphasized HR digitalization, HRIS enablement, payroll and operations excellence, and a caring leadership approach while scaling and integrating teams across geographies.
Earlier, Ula held progressively senior roles at Predica Group over more than five years, including Chief People Officer and Chief People Officer – Executive Board Member. She helped scale the organization from a small team to a global remote workforce of over 450 people, while maintaining engagement and satisfaction. Following Predica’s acquisition by SoftwareOne, she also led the complex merger integration across multiple entities spanning EMEA and the USA—while continuing to run People & Culture and administrative functions.
Ula’s experience also includes over five years at mBank S.A. as Head of Employee Development (L&D), where she led learning and development, culture initiatives, performance review programs, and broader HR projects across Poland and the Czech Republic. Prior to that, she spent nearly six years with Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A. as Senior Human Resources Business Partner and later HR Manager, supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and playing a key role in integration and culture alignment during organizational merger activity.
Beyond corporate leadership, Ula has also contributed academically as a Freelance Lecturer at Uniwersytet SWPS, and earlier worked at Orange Polska as an HR Business Partner, where she strengthened her ability to link HR to business outcomes and supported IT, technical, and sales divisions—creating programs that were adopted as broader best practices.
