Delhi, Delhi NCR, India , August 2025 — Upasana Ratra has been appointed Head of Talent Acquisition at Orient Electric, where she will lead recruitment strategy, employer branding, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and HR process transformation. With more than 18 years of experience across consulting and corporate HR leadership, she brings deep expertise in building talent pipelines and transforming people practices to support business growth.
Most recently, Upasana served as Head – Talent Acquisition & D&I at Hero MotoCorp, where she revamped the campus hiring strategy, built onboarding programs, and created a diversity roadmap to strengthen inclusion across the organization. Over more than a decade at Hero MotoCorp, she also led leadership hiring, global recruitment strategy, and talent engagement initiatives.
Prior to this, she worked with Executive Access India and TRANSEARCH India, where she successfully led CXO-level hiring across auto, manufacturing, cement, chemical, and real estate sectors. Her tenure at TRANSEARCH also saw her managing executive search mandates and advising clients on strategic recruitment planning.
Upasana began her career in consulting with Catalysts Services, Datawise Consultants, and TRANSEARCH, where she partnered with leading organizations including ABN Amro, HSBC, Aviva Life Insurance, GE Money, Coca-Cola India, Ernst & Young, Hyundai Motors, and GE Energy. This early experience laid the foundation for her career in strategic hiring and talent management.
With her appointment at Orient Electric, she is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR transformation and positioning it as an employer of choice.
