Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom, November 2025 — Tata Technologies has announced the appointment of Uttam Gujrati as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective December 31, 2025. In his new role, Uttam will oversee the company’s global financial operations, strategic planning, and transformation initiatives, driving financial governance and sustainable growth during a crucial phase of expansion for the engineering and digital services major.
Uttam brings with him more than two decades of diversified experience in finance leadership, business strategy, and transformation across global technology and engineering organizations. His expertise spans project finance, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, M&A, ERP reimplementation, and investor relations—making him exceptionally equipped to lead Tata Technologies’ financial strategy in a period of accelerated innovation and global growth.
Before assuming the role of CFO, Uttam served as Global Head – Business Finance, Strategy, and Transformation at Tata Technologies, where he played a key role in shaping financial strategy, optimizing cost structures, and enabling operational transformation across global markets. His leadership has been central to enhancing the company’s business finance capabilities and aligning its fiscal frameworks with its strategic objectives.
Prior to joining Tata Technologies, Uttam was Chief Financial Officer at Smokescreen Technologies (acquired by Zscaler), where he managed global finance, compliance, and operations, and spearheaded the company’s overseas expansion strategy. Earlier, he held leadership roles at Onward Technologies Limited as Vice President – Finance, driving investor relations and financial optimization initiatives; at Geometric Ltd., where he led Financial Planning & Analysis and Order-to-Cash functions; and at 3DPLM Software Solutions, where he was instrumental in budgeting, revenue management, and strategic business planning.
Throughout his career, Uttam has demonstrated strong acumen in M&A execution, strategic business transformation, and performance management, enabling organizations to scale efficiently and deliver measurable stakeholder value.
