Hyderabad, Telangana, India, January 2026 — iBASIS has announced the appointment of V V Subba Raju as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his new role, Raju will lead the organization’s global cybersecurity strategy, information security governance, data protection and resilience programs across iBASIS’s worldwide voice, messaging, mobile, 5G roaming and IoT connectivity platforms, strengthening security, compliance and customer trust across international operations.
At iBASIS, V V Subba Raju has taken charge as Chief Information Security Officer, overseeing enterprise security architecture, cyber risk management, privacy, compliance, audit readiness and resilience frameworks across global communications infrastructure.
Previously, at NTT DATA Business Solutions, he served as Senior Director – CISO & DPO (APAC & India) and Director – IT & Networks, where he led multi-country cybersecurity governance, ISO 27001 programs, BCP/DR frameworks, network and application security, and enterprise risk management across APAC and India.
Earlier, at CallHealth, Raju was Head – IT Infrastructure & Information Security, leading cloud security (Azure & AWS), IT operations, compliance governance, vulnerability management, ITIL operations, and cyber resilience initiatives.
Before that, at Dhanush InfoTech Pvt Ltd, he served as IS Operations Head, managing IT and security operations across India, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and Australia, including cloud infrastructure, regulatory compliance, pre-sales enablement and service delivery governance.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Capgemini and Microland Ltd, driving enterprise IT service delivery, BCP/DR programs, SLA governance and infrastructure transformation initiatives. He began his professional journey in the Indian Air Force, serving for over 16 years and building his foundation in mission-critical IT operations and disciplined service delivery.
