Health Co. is pleased to announce the appointment of Sultan Albalawi as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Albalawi, who brings over twenty years of extensive experience in human resources management, started his new role in March 2024 at the company’s headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Albalawi’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Health Co., a national state-owned company renowned for its commitment to providing comprehensive and integrated healthcare services across Saudi Arabia. With his vast experience, Albalawi is expected to spearhead the company’s HR strategies, focusing on enhancing organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, and implementing innovative HR practices to support the company’s growth and mission.
Before joining Health Co., Albalawi held the position of Regional HR Leader for the Middle East, North Africa & Turkey (Grid Automations) at GE Vernova, where he led the HR business partner strategy and executed key HR initiatives. His tenure at GE Vernova was marked by significant achievements, including driving HR functional excellence, process improvement, and acting as the Saudi Arabia HR leader for Renewable Energy – Grid Solutions.
Prior to his impactful role at GE Vernova, Albalawi served as the Country HR Director for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, where he was responsible for driving holistic HR strategies and facilitating organizational change. His leadership in Inclusion & Diversity for GE Saudi & Bahrain highlighted his commitment to creating a culture of belonging and ensuring equitable opportunities for all employees.
