London, England, United Kingdom, July 2025 – Vanessa Luty has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Walkers, a leading international law firm renowned for its legal and corporate services across global financial centres. In her new role, Vanessa will be responsible for leading HR initiatives, strengthening organizational culture, and supporting the firm’s global talent strategies during a time of continued growth and evolution.
Prior to joining Walkers, Vanessa spent over six years at Thomas Miller, where she held multiple leadership roles including Group HR Director, Head of HR, and Senior HR Business Partner. During her tenure, she led enterprise-wide HR strategies, supported hybrid workforce transitions, and played a key role in shaping talent development programs across the organization.
Before Thomas Miller, Vanessa worked for over six years at Bird & Bird LLP as an HR Manager, where she supported the firm’s legal teams through a period of expansion and drove several people-centric initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Earlier in her career, she served as HR Manager at Olswang (now CMS) for nearly five years, where she laid a strong foundation in HR operations, performance management, and compliance within a fast-paced legal environment.
