United States, January 2026 — Vanessa Reyes has been promoted to Director, Human Resources Business Partner at Cardinal Health, marking a significant milestone in her HR leadership journey spanning over a decade within the organization. In her new role, Vanessa will provide strategic HR partnership to the business, driving talent strategies and organizational development across commercial operations.
Over the past two years, she served as Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (Med Sales & Commercial Enablement), where she supported diverse national teams and contributed to the development of people strategies that aligned with business goals. Prior to that, she held the position of Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (Med Distribution), leading HR efforts across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama remotely and supporting Med Distribution and Replenishment Centers with talent alignment and operational efficiency.
Before joining Cardinal Health, Vanessa worked at Medtronic Vascular in Costa Rica as Site HR Lead, playing a crucial role during the transition period before the site became part of Cardinal Health. She was responsible for employee engagement, compliance, and talent development across the facility.
Her earlier experience includes nearly three years as HR Generalist at Covidien, now part of Cardinal Health, where she managed end-to-end HR responsibilities. She also spent close to four years at Coca-Cola FEMSA, serving in multiple HR capacities including HR Specialist and Administration Executive roles, supporting operations in Costa Rica and Central America.
