New Delhi, India, March 2025 – Water Management & Plumbing Skill Council (WMPSC) has announced the appointment of Varun Tandon as its new CEO. With a deep commitment to skill development, workforce empowerment, and industry innovation, Tandon’s leadership is expected to drive WMPSC’s mission of enhancing vocational education in water management and plumbing.
Varun Tandon has been an integral part of WMPSC for nearly a decade, previously serving as Senior Vice President. In this role, he played a key part in strengthening industry engagement, launching innovative programs, and collaborating with national and international organizations to enhance vocational training. His efforts have significantly contributed to WMPSC’s branding and advocacy while promoting the Skill India Mission across the country.
Before joining WMPSC, Tandon held leadership roles in business development and sales at Acrospire and Xltel Pty Ltd in Australia, where he developed and executed growth strategies, key account management, and operational efficiencies. His global experience in strategic partnerships and skill development positions him well to lead WMPSC in expanding its reach and impact.
Tandon holds a Master’s Degree in International Business and Global Leadership from Swinburne University of Technology and Northeastern University, specializing in change management and strategic leadership.
