Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, May 2024 – Ven Sze Kung has started a new position as Chief People Officer at Daythree. Ven brings extensive experience in human resources leadership and aims to enhance the organization’s talent strategy and drive transformative change.
Before joining Daythree, Ven served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Center of Applied Data Science (CADS) from April 2022 to December 2022. In this role, Ven was responsible for strategic human resource planning, employer branding, and HR operations, among other key functions.
Prior to CADS, Ven was the GM Human Resource at Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad from May 2021 to May 2022. There, Ven managed employee relations, HRIS, and recruiting operations, enhancing the overall HR management framework.
Ven also held the position of GM HR at 7-Eleven Malaysia from February 2020 to March 2021, where Ven was part of the team in the biggest convenience chain globally, contributing to strategic HR planning and workforce management.
Earlier in his career, Ven worked as a Consultant in a freelance capacity from June 2019 to February 2020, mentoring and coaching in the areas of career transition and HR projects. Before that, Ven was the Country HR Lead at Accenture from May 2018 to May 2019, driving the full spectrum of HR within the consulting and business process outsourcing businesses.
Ven has also served as the Head of HR at Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare from February 2014 to October 2017, Head of Supply Chain HR at British American Tobacco from October 2008 to September 2013, and held various management positions at BAT from November 1999 to September 2013. Additionally, Ven has experience with The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. as a Sales Executive from July 1991 to October 1994.
