Tamnar, Chhattisgarh, India, August 2025 — Venkat Reddy Gogulamudi has been appointed as Head of Plant (HoP) at Jindal Power Limited, Tamnar, where he will be responsible for overseeing operations, project execution, and driving strategic growth. His appointment marks a significant leadership addition as the company continues to advance its vision of energy excellence and sustainability.
Venkat brings a wealth of experience from the Indian power and energy sector, most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Meenakshi Energy Limited under the Vedanta Group, where he led critical growth initiatives. Prior to that, he served as Deputy CEO at Athena Chhattisgarh Power Limited, where he successfully managed large-scale projects and significantly enhanced operational performance.
Earlier in his career, Venkat spent over six years at Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), holding pivotal positions including Chief Operating Officer – Power and Director – Power, where he was instrumental in driving process optimization and operational efficiency at the Korba power facilities.
Venkat also held key leadership roles at Vedanta Resources Limited, serving as Senior Vice President and Vice President, and played a major role in power operations at Jharsuguda and Korba. His robust expertise in contract negotiation, project planning, and large-scale operational leadership is expected to significantly contribute to Jindal Power’s mission of enhancing reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in energy delivery.
