Hyderabad, Telangana, India, March 2025 – Venkatesh G. has joined Keka HR as the new Chief Technology Officer (Tech, AI & Data), where he will lead the company’s mission to transform HR Technology using cutting-edge innovation, AI, and data-driven systems. In his new role, Venkatesh will be instrumental in developing scalable, transparent, and user-focused HRMS solutions that reimagine how organizations engage with their workforce.
Prior to Keka, Venkatesh served as Senior Vice President Engineering – Products and Platforms & CIO & Data Analytics Leader at Acko, where he played a pivotal role in building Acko’s Insurance SaaS cloud platform, growing embedded insurance revenue, launching predictive analytics, and driving AI-powered innovation in product testing and infrastructure optimization.

Earlier, Venkatesh was the Director of Engineering for SaaS Platforms and Site Executive at Google India, where he spearheaded SaaS centralization and cost optimization efforts, saving over $30 million, while managing a global team of 250+ engineers and product managers. His achievements included deploying secure SaaS integrations and developing CI/CD tools with AI/ML for scalable product delivery.
Prior to Google, Venkatesh held the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Salesforce, where he led enterprise-wide engineering initiatives, launched a machine-learning based renewal platform, and conceptualized the “Domain Depth” program to upskill engineering teams across global locations.
With over a decade of experience at Deloitte, Venkatesh rose to the role of Managing Director – Software Engineering, delivering high-impact technology transformations in healthcare and public sectors. He built scalable platforms serving over 300,000 users, directed global teams of 400+, and led innovation in EHR interoperability and omni-channel systems.
Venkatesh’s earlier experiences at TCS and Godrej & Boyce shaped his foundation in software engineering, data systems, and infrastructure management. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a unique ability to build high-performance teams and architect transformative technology at scale.
