Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 2025 – Venkatraman Krishnamoorthy has been appointed as Director – Sales and Strategic Partner Alliance at Freshworks, where he will spearhead sales strategies, cultivate key partnerships, and drive business expansion in the ever-evolving SaaS landscape. With a deep-rooted expertise in sales leadership and business development, Venkat has a proven ability to strengthen market presence and forge high-value strategic collaborations across global markets.
Before stepping into this role, Venkatraman Krishnamoorthy served as Director – Middle East & Africa at Freshworks for nearly three years, leading a high-performing sales team and expanding market reach across multiple countries and industries. His tenure also included a role as Regional Lead – Middle East & Africa, where he played a pivotal role in revenue growth and strategic market penetration.
Prior to joining Freshworks, Venkat spent almost five years at ADP, where he led major business and cloud services sales, scaling revenue and expanding market presence. His contributions at ADP included growing the division’s portfolio and developing international business across key markets such as the United States, Australia, EMEA, and the UK.
Earlier in his career, Venkat held leadership roles at Matrimony.com Limited, where he led regional sales, expanded category penetration, and successfully managed large-scale revenue growth. His experience also includes a tenure as Area Sales Manager at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India), where he played a key role in business expansion and revenue generation.
His career began at IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, where he served for over six years as a Business Development Manager, handling client acquisition and key accounts, contributing to significant client retention and revenue growth.
Venkatraman Krishnamoorthy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Finance from SCSVMV Deemed University and completed Strategic Management studies at the Metropolitan School of Business & Management (UK).
