Auckland, New Zealand, February 2025 – Vicki Caisley has been promoted to Chief People & Transformation Officer at AA New Zealand. In this expanded role, she will lead people strategy, cultural transformation, and organizational change initiatives to drive the company’s long-term growth and innovation.
Caisley joined AA New Zealand in November 2023 as Chief People Officer, where she played a key role in strengthening workforce capabilities and aligning HR strategies with business goals. Before this, she spent over a decade at Southern Cross Health Society, serving as Chief People & Strategy Officer, where she was instrumental in driving digital transformation, strategic workforce planning, and business transformation.
Earlier, she was the National Director, People & Culture at Grant Thornton New Zealand, where she developed performance-enhancing HR programs to support business growth. She also served as a Board Member at the New Zealand Fire Service Commission, overseeing public education programs and research funding to enhance fire and emergency services across the country.
Before that, she held various HR leadership roles at Auckland District Health Board, Goodman Fielder, and AMP Banking, focusing on organizational restructuring, change management, and workforce development. She also provided HR consulting for leading organizations like Fonterra, Toyota Financial Services, and Q Theatre, helping them establish robust HR frameworks.
Her extensive career, spanning over two decades, has equipped her with deep expertise in human resources, leadership development, and business transformation, positioning her well to drive AA New Zealand’s continued success.
