Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, February 2026 – Vijay Kumar Srivastav has started his new position as General Manager – HR & Admn. at Ambit Switchgear India Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant milestone in his distinguished HR leadership journey spanning over three decades.
Prior to this appointment, Vijay served for nearly two decades with Tube Investments of India Ltd. (a part of the Murugappa Group), where he held the role of Sr. GM & Head HR & Safety at TI Cycles of India. During his long tenure, he led people management, recruitment, performance management systems, business scorecards, statutory compliance, employee welfare, industrial relations, employee engagement, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives—contributing directly to achieving business targets across PQCDSWM parameters.
Earlier in his career, Vijay spent over a decade with Indo Asian Fusegear Limited as Dy. Manager – HR, overseeing recruitment, training & development, statutory compliance, and operational HR & IR functions. He also held HR and executive roles at Indo Asian Marketing Ltd and Autometers Alliance Ltd, where he built foundational expertise in payroll management, administration, industrial relations, and employee welfare.
Vijay holds an MBA in HRD, Training & Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Relations, and Social Security & Welfare from Delhi University.
In his new role at Ambit Switchgear India Pvt. Ltd., he will lead the HR and administration function, supporting organizational growth, operational excellence, and a strong people-centric culture.
