Having completed an impressive 17-year journey within the organization and its predecessor, IBM, Vikram’s new role marks a continuation of his long-standing contributions to business strategy, operational excellence, and financial leadership.
As Director, Business Operations, Vikram will continue to partner with senior leadership in driving strategic investment decisions, optimizing costs, and enabling sustainable revenue growth. His expertise in financial planning, process enhancement, and enterprise analytics has consistently supported Kyndryl’s transformation into a focused, high-performing global technology services enterprise.
Vikram’s association with Kyndryl spans over four years, where he most recently served as Associate Director of Finance, managing multi-billion-dollar budgets and ensuring operational efficiency across business units. His insights into cost management and pricing optimization have been instrumental in supporting Kyndryl’s strategic growth initiatives and client delivery excellence.
Before Kyndryl’s spin-off from IBM, Vikram served as Financial Controller (GTS-IS) at IBM, where he played a critical role in business financial management, compliance, and transformation projects. During his tenure of more than eight years at IBM, he led financial operations for multiple verticals, including the communication sector and regional sales operations, contributing significantly to process innovation and governance frameworks.
Earlier in his career, Vikram held leadership roles at Ericsson India, where he served as General Manager – Finance, overseeing accounting, reporting, and shared services projects across India and Sri Lanka. His early career at American Express and GE helped him develop strong financial acumen and operational insight, where he managed large-scale remittance and accounting operations handling funds exceeding USD 300 million annually.
