London, United Kingdom, February 2025 – Vincent Bonnot has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer EMEA at DS Smith, where he will oversee the company’s financial operations, strategic planning, and business growth across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
Vincent brings extensive global finance leadership experience, having spent over 16 years at International Paper. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, where he led corporate financial strategy, performance management, and forecasting. Previously, he held the role of Vice President Finance, Corporate Controller, responsible for corporate governance, compliance, and financial reporting. Earlier in his tenure, he was Chief Financial Officer, EMEA, driving financial strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency across the region.

Before International Paper, Vincent spent over six years at Alcan, holding key finance leadership positions, including Director, Strategy & Development at Alcan Global Beauty, where he was instrumental in shaping financial strategies for international expansion. Prior to that, he was CFO at Cebal Americas and CFO at Pechiney Capsules, managing finance operations, audits, and strategic investments. His early career began at PwC as a Senior Auditor, gaining valuable expertise in financial analysis and risk management.
With a proven track record of driving financial excellence and operational efficiencies, Vincent is set to play a pivotal role in enhancing DS Smith’s financial strategy and reinforcing its leadership in sustainable packaging solutions.
