His appointment marks a strategic move as the company accelerates its commercial expansion across India.
Vithal joins Phoenix Mills from Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited, where he served as Partner – Commercial Real Estate Fund, leading strategic investments and asset management initiatives. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Brookfield Properties as Senior Vice President & Regional Head – West India, and at K Raheja Corp, where he spent nearly two decades spearheading commercial leasing across key metros.
He began his real estate career at Mayfair Housing, developing a strong foundation in sales and project execution. Throughout his journey, Vithal has built a reputation for his sharp business acumen, strategic foresight, and ability to scale high-performing commercial portfolios.
An alumnus of the Chicago Booth School of Business (Accelerated Development Program) and an Executive MBA from NMIMS, Vithal now steps into a pivotal role at The Phoenix Mills Ltd. as it continues to strengthen its leadership in India’s premium commercial real estate segment. He will be responsible for steering the company’s commercial real estate vertical with a focus on growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
