Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy, April 2025 – Vittorio Cirucci has taken on the role of Group Chief Financial Officer at Gpi Group, a global leader in digital and sustainable healthcare solutions. In this new capacity, he will lead the group’s financial strategies, support M&A initiatives, and help strengthen its international positioning in digital transformation across the healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Gpi Group, Vittorio served as the Group CFO of Petrone Group for over six years, where he led a strategic reorganization in partnership with McKinsey and successfully spearheaded M&A deals across Italy, France, and the UK. He also introduced a Group-wide sustainability report and anti-fraud systems, redesigned corporate governance, and championed a wide-ranging digital transformation program across 30 companies operating in pharma, trading, industrial, and retail sectors.
Before his tenure at Petrone Group, Vittorio was CFO at Capua BioServices, where he played a pivotal role in post-acquisition restructuring and business turnaround after a carve-out from Patheon. He led the finance function during a critical period of transformation, delivering a 45% revenue growth and reversing EBITDA from negative to a strong double-digit margin.
