Bengaluru, Karnataka, March 2025 — Vivasvan Shastri has been appointed as Vice President of Engineering at GE HealthCare, a leading global innovator in medical technologies and digital solutions. With more than two decades of experience across cloud platforms, AI-driven systems, and global engineering leadership, Shastri steps into this strategic role to drive innovation and accelerate the company’s engineering excellence in healthcare technology.
Shastri most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and India Site Lead at SentinelOne, where he played a key role in scaling the company’s engineering operations and advancing cybersecurity innovation. Prior to this, he spent over a decade at Cisco, taking on senior leadership roles including Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering for CX Cloud, where he led teams driving AI/ML adoption, SaaS development, and customer-centric solutions.
His experience also includes pivotal roles at NetApp, where he led the Ontap manageability strategy, and at Yahoo!, where he managed trust and safety functions for its advertising platforms. Earlier in his career, he held product leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, Philips, and NXP Semiconductors, managing portfolios and embedded software projects across global markets including Greater China and India.
Certified as an AWS Solutions Architect, Design Thinking Practitioner, and Gallup Strengths Coach, Shastri is deeply committed to building high-performance engineering teams. His leadership philosophy — “Be Good, Do Good, Have Fun” — reflects a collaborative and values-driven approach to management.
At GE HealthCare, Shastri will lead the engineering strategy to strengthen the company’s digital health initiatives, scale intelligent medical devices, and drive global R&D across cloud, AI, and platform solutions.
