Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August, 2025 – OutSystems, a leading AI-powered low-code development platform, today announced the appointment of Vivek Ganesh as the new Regional Vice President (RVP) for India. Taking the helm during a period of strong regional expansion, Vivek will lead business growth and development in India and strengthen customer and partner relationships to accelerate the company’s next phase of AI-powered growth in this key Asia-Pacific market.

Vivek joins OutSystems with over two decades of experience in enterprise technology leadership, delivering sustained, high-impact sales and business growth. He has held senior roles at prominent global firms such as Gartner, SAP Concur, and MongoDB, driving large-scale digital transformation programs, building high-performing teams, and cultivating strategic partnerships across India, Asia-Pacific, and international markets.

Commenting on his appointment, Vivek Ganesh, Regional Vice President, India, OutSystems, said, “India’s enterprises are leapfrogging ahead in global digital innovation, rapidly modernizing and innovating to unlock the opportunities presented by emerging technologies and shifting market demands. As AI-driven transformation – including agentic AI – surges ahead, organizations are increasingly seeking platforms that offer security, governance, and agility. I believe OutSystems is uniquely positioned to meet these needs, empowering businesses to build smarter applications faster, eliminate legacy technical debt, and turn AI potential into meaningful, real, and secure outcomes. I am excited to work with the team to deepen our collaboration with customers and partners, demonstrating how AI-powered low-code is fuelling India’s push towards a digital-first economy.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Vivek to the OutSystems Asia-Pacific leadership team,” said Mark Weaser, Vice President of APAC, OutSystems. “His deep understanding of the enterprise technology landscape and his proven expertise in scaling business operations will be pivotal as we continue to grow our presence in India. He will be instrumental in driving the adoption of OutSystems AI-powered low-code platform across key industries, including banking, financial services, and insurance, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and GCCs (Global Capability Centers) – sectors where the pressure to modernize legacy systems, improve operational agility, and deliver innovative customer experiences has never been greater. Vivek’s appointment reinforces our commitment to enabling Indian enterprises to build and scale mission-critical applications at speed, with agility, and security.”

OutSystems is empowering India’s developer ecosystem through initiatives like the Developer Day Bengaluru on August 23, a one-day conference which brought together OutSystems technical experts, product leaders, customers, partners and local developers for a series of technical sessions, presentations, and networking to exchange best practices. At the event, Vivek took the stage to address attendees on the future of AI-powered low-code development and OutSystems roadmap, highlighting key innovations such as Agent Workbench and Mentor. Participants also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with these tools.

With a growing community of 83,800 active members in India, OutSystems is fostering upskilling, collaboration, and access to AI-powered tools to accelerate digital transformation and to future-proof organisations across the country’s dynamic business environment.
