London Area, United Kingdom, September 2025 – Wayne Searle has joined AVK-SEG as Chief People Officer, bringing a wealth of HR leadership and transformation experience to one of Europe’s most innovative power solutions providers. In his new hybrid role, he will lead AVK’s people strategy, focusing on culture, capability building, and enabling the company’s continued growth in sustainable infrastructure for data centres and mission-critical organisations.
Prior to this appointment, Wayne Searle served at Made Tech for over two years, where he held dual leadership roles—first as Chief People Officer and later as Chief People & Enabling Services Officer, overseeing HR, marketing, and operations. At Made Tech, a high-growth digital and data transformation partner to the UK public sector, Wayne played a pivotal role in integrating people strategy with broader business enablement functions.
Before that, Wayne spent over three years at Vertiv as VP Human Resources – EMEA and Global M&A, where he led regional HR operations and managed critical integration initiatives globally. Vertiv, a global provider of IT infrastructure and power solutions, benefited from his deep expertise in organizational transformation and global talent strategy during a period of rapid growth and strategic acquisitions.
He also served as Group HR Director at Tipico, a leading European betting company, where he was responsible for HR operations across Malta and Germany. His leadership supported workforce expansion and HR capability enhancement for a team of over 6,000 employees across retail and online platforms.
Earlier, Wayne held global and interim roles at Adevinta/Schibsted Media Group and Criteo, including as (Interim) SVP, People & Communications – Marketplaces and Global Human Resources Director (SVP) respectively. These roles saw him lead cross-continental HR teams across Europe, Asia, and North America, supporting businesses at the intersection of digital media, advertising, and classifieds.
Wayne’s prior experience also includes serving as Group Human Resources Director at Abdul Latif Jameel in the MENAT region, and nearly seven years at Vodafone, where he held several HR leadership positions across the UK, India, and Asia Pacific. He also contributed to early-stage resourcing strategy as Head of Resourcing at Barclays, and began his career with Michael Page International and Sun Life of Canada, building a strong foundation in recruitment and consultancy.
