Trivandrum, Kerala, India, April 2025 – In line with its commitment to inclusivity and nurturing future tech talent, Experion Technologies, a global leader in product engineering and digital transformation services, recently hosted over 45 third-year Computer Science Engineering students from LBS Institute of Technology for Women (LBSITW), Kerala’s only government-run women’s engineering college, for an immersive industrial visit at its Trivandrum campus.
During the four-hour onsite engagement, Experion’s women leaders and domain experts led interactive sessions that offered a window into the corporate world. The visit served as a platform for students to explore potential career paths and understand the evolving expectations of the IT industry.
The students heard from professionals in Project Management, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, learning:
- the fundamentals of project management, from planning and organizing to monitoring and execution
- the product journey and the significance of business analysis in IT
- the importance of quality assurance in delivering successful digital solutions
- the critical role HR plays in shaping work culture and managing organizational growth
The sessions also delved into the balance between emerging technologies like AI and the irreplaceable value of human empathy and judgment in decision-making.

“Our goal is to create opportunities where women in tech can empower and uplift one another. By sharing real-world experiences and career insights, we hope to inspire these young engineers to envision bold futures for themselves. Initiatives like these help bridge the gap between academia and industry while building a stronger, more inclusive tech community,” said Jaya Nair, AGM Service Delivery, Experion Technologies.
As the only government-run engineering college exclusively for women in Kerala, LBSITW plays a pivotal role in advancing gender diversity in STEM. The visit to Experion, a certified Great Place to Work with a visibly inclusive culture, provided students with a first-hand experience of how women can lead and thrive in technology.
“Participating in the industrial visit at Experion was truly eye-opening,” shared Gopika M Sharma, 3rd-year CSE student from LBSITW. “Learning from women leaders across different domains helped us see how classroom theory translates into real-world innovation. It gave us clarity, confidence, and fresh perspective on what lies ahead.”
By opening its doors to students, Experion reinforces its commitment to fostering a collaborative ecosystem where future engineers gain real-world exposure, and industry veterans contribute to shaping tomorrow’s changemakers.
