Chennai, India, July 2026 — Xcelerate Global has appointed Udayakumar Rajarathinam as Group Head of Human Resources, where he will lead and develop the People & Culture roadmap for the Group.
In his new role, Udayakumar will be responsible for shaping the Group’s people strategy, strengthening organizational capability, driving leadership development, and fostering a high-performance culture to support Xcelerate Global’s continued expansion across the Environmental, Social, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (ESGRC) ecosystem.
Prior to joining Xcelerate Global, Udayakumar served as Chief Operating Officer – Global Banking & Advisory at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre. Earlier, he held several senior HR leadership roles within the organization, including Senior Business Partner – Human Resources and Manager – Human Resources Business Partner, supporting business transformation and people strategy.
Before Societe Generale, he was Manager – Human Resources at Ericsson India, where he led HR operations, talent attraction, employee engagement, people safety, and business partnering for large R&D and Business Support Systems teams.
His earlier career includes HR leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, where he drove people practices, employee well-being, benefits, and workplace transformation, and Logica, where he led HR operations and business partnering while helping establish HR shared services across the Asia-Pacific region. He also held an operations leadership role at DXC Technology early in his career.
With more than 15 years of experience across human resources, business partnering, operations, and organizational development, Udayakumar brings extensive expertise in building people capabilities, enabling business transformation, and leading strategic HR initiatives across global organizations.
He holds an Executive MBA in Human Resources Management from the Loyola Institute of Business Administration, further strengthening his expertise in strategic people leadership.
