Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 — Rubrik has announced the appointment of Yasser Ammar as Regional Director – Middle East & Turkey, marking a significant leadership addition as the company accelerates growth across one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing regions. In his new role, Yasser will be responsible for driving regional strategy, strengthening enterprise and partner relationships, and expanding Rubrik’s footprint across the Middle East and Turkey.
With over two decades of enterprise technology and cybersecurity leadership experience, Yasser brings deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, partner ecosystem development, and large-scale enterprise sales. Most recently, he served as Country Manager at Cohesity, where he led the UAE and Oman business following the acquisition of Veritas by Cohesity. In this role, he consistently exceeded revenue targets, expanded market share, and built high-performing cross-functional teams focused on customer retention and long-term value creation.
Prior to this, Yasser spent more than six years with Veritas Technologies, first as Senior Strategic Account Manager and later as Country Manager, leading growth initiatives across the UAE. His earlier career includes senior sales and leadership roles with global technology organizations such as Micro Focus, F5, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Symantec, building a strong foundation in enterprise software, cloud computing, and security solutions across the Middle East and North Africa.
At Rubrik, Yasser is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and AI-driven security, helping enterprises across the region strengthen resilience and accelerate secure digital transformation.
