Jakarta, Indonesia, October 2024 – Yeolenda Pakel has taken on the role of Head of People at Gong cha Indonesia, one of the leading global bubble tea brands. In her new role, Yeolenda will be responsible for overseeing the HR strategies, talent management, and organizational development efforts for Gong cha’s Indonesia operations, ensuring a people-centric approach to support the company’s rapid growth in the region.
Before joining Gong cha Indonesia, Yeolenda served as HR Manager at KAGI Hospitality for over a year, where she was responsible for HR policies, labor cost management, and implementing strategic staffing solutions to meet business needs. She also worked as an HR Partner at PT. Ristorante Italia Cita Harapan, where she led recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning, aligning manpower with operational goals.
Yeolenda’s earlier experiences include her role as HR Manager & Legal at Tomaple Gourmet Potato Donuts, where she focused on strategic human resource planning and legal compliance, including obtaining Halal licenses. She also gained legal expertise during her tenure as an Associate Consultant at Abraham Pakel & Associates Law Office, where she worked for over two years, providing legal guidance and HR consultancy.
