Vadodara, Gujarat, India, June 2024 – Zydus Group is excited to announce that Mangesh Vaze has joined as the President of API Business at their corporate office.
With over two decades of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mangesh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Zydus team. His most recent role was with Cipla, where he served as Senior Vice President and Cluster Head of API. His vast experience and leadership skills make him an excellent fit for Zydus, and the team looks forward to his innovative contributions.
Mangesh Vaze has built a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry. He joins Zydus Group from Cipla, where he spent about 7 years. His roles included Sr. Vice President – Cluster Head API and Vice President. Mangesh provided oversight to all API sites, focusing on growth, leadership, and compliance.
Before Cipla, he was the Associate Vice President of API Operations at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited for approximately 3 years. Prior to that, Mangesh held various leadership positions at Mylan Laboratories Limited for around 4 years, where he headed API manufacturing facilities and managed technical services.
His earlier roles include Leader Production at Apotex Inc., Sr Manager Manufacturing at Wockhardt, and Manager Process Engineering at Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. Mangesh began his career at Lupin Ltd., where he worked for nearly a decade, gaining expertise in production, process engineering, and project management.
